Allegheny Aikikai was founded in
1995 as an independent member dojo of the United
States Aikido Federation and is now part of the Capital
Aikido Federation. The dojo is currently part of Allegheny
Aikikai Aikido and Joseki Judo and Ju-Jitsu, Inc., formed by
Jan
Finkbeiner and David
Hurtubise.
AAA and JJJ, Inc. was created in
2004 as a not-for-profit enterprise to promote Aikido, Judo, and
Ju-Jitsu in central Pennsylvania. Instructors at AAA and
JJJ are not paid a salary; they contribute their time and their
expertise because of their dedication to the martial arts and
their desire to pass on a tradition of high quality martial arts
practice.
